My favorite song would be pure imagination because it’s really calm and the lyrics is really nice.
I’m sorry for not writing as much I ran out of ideas.

Achievements and regrets.

The achievements I have would be making really good friends that make me happy. Another achievement would be getting good grades and not failing anything. A regret would be hanging out with the wrong people and acting different. Goals I have for seventh grade would be stay friends with the same people because there really good for me and make sure I don’t act bad. Another goal for seventh grade would be to still have good grades and be cool with my teachers and have no beef.

MAP Testing

Map testing was like always boring and quite. Sitting in front of screen really isn’t fun. For my Math test I went up by 10 points I honestly thought I was gonna go down . For my reading I went down like 7 points which sucks so much :( . For my language I went down as well but I retook it . The only good thing about testing was the part where it makes all of our classes shorter and we get to be in excel for a longer period of time. I retook my language test trying to beat my score which is really good because I went up by 4 points so I get the reward for going up in at least 2 test. I was really going toward the special reward which was if you went up in 3 but sadly I didn’t go up:(

Positives of the week

One positive of this week would be being able to dress down all week which was fun especially since we had  MAP testing so we were able to be comfortable. The second positive would be getting my nails done 💅 with my mom. She wanted to have a bonding time with me since she’s gonna be in Mexico for mother’s day. The third positive of the week would be walking home.

Posting 50 blogs.

 This is supposed to be my 50th blog, but since I did Slice of Life I have over 50. It feels weird how we’ve been doing blog post since the begging of the school year and it’s about to be the end of the year and we’re still blogging it seems as if we started yesterday which clearly wasn’t yesterday. Doing the blogs was really easy and fun I kinda started slacking of and wrote less which was really really bad but I kinda got my game and wrote a lot again.

Reading Night

Reading Night was kinda fun. I made a bookmark and a magnet which was really fun. I went with my mom and my older sister because my brother was getting an award. My brother got there kinda late since he had a volleyball game. The point of reading night was for creative fun and so the students who earned it to receive an award for their hard work.  At the end of  family reading night they gave out prizes. You had to participate in the activity’s to receive a ticket to get an award.

Analyzing a poem

 The poem that I’m analyzing is The Best.

It is an encouraging poem. Telling you how you should try your best. That if you try your best you won’t regret anything of have second thought on it . Even if you didn’t try your best as long as you gave it your all and didn’t give up you will be okay and you should be proud.

Favorite poem

This is my favorite poem because it states how things are possible with a new day and we are given new beginnings. How we shouldn’t give up or given in that we’re strong enough to fight our way and it’s possible.

Chicago history project

For my Chicago history project I’m writing about John Wayne Gacy. John Wayne Gacy was a serial killer clown in Illinois. He killed 33 young men. When he was done with his victims he would burry them in a crawl space in his house. He had a death penalty so on. They killed him with lethal injections. They killed him this wat because he had a death penalty. His father would beat him with Razor straps. He was born in Chicago Illinois.

Quarter 4 Goals

My fourth quarter goals are the same as always get good grades, pay more attention, participate, but since it’s quarter 4 our last quarter my new goals are to have as much fun possible with my friends and to just in joy every last minute I have with them before seventh grade. My other goal is also to make amends with people who don’t like me or say sorry if I hurt someone cause I want to start fresh in seventh grade. For fourth quarter I want to turn everything in on time and try not to get any twos. Quarter 3 I only got 1 two and that was in art for not being organized in my projects which is one thing I know I’m going to do better next year for sure. For quarter four I also want to participate more in gym I always do what they say to do but I do t always do it my best.

Spring break

During spring break I went to the movies and the mall. I went to watch ready player one which is a really nice movies. I went to the mall with my mom to buy new clothes that was pretty awesome. I wasn’t aloud to hangout with friends because I was grounded which made no sense because my mom said it was because my room was “dirty” which wasn’t but that was that. I went to my cousins house on Wednesday which was fun cause I got to carry my baby cousin although he weighs a lot for 4 month old baby. The rest of the break I was in my room watching Netflix which is like awesome. My mom made go to church which felt like forever. After church we went to breakfast and had to wait 45 minutes to get seated. After breakfast we went home and changed to more comfortable clothes to go to my aunts house. Me and my brother had look for Easter eggs because of my little cousin which was the worst. We had to let her get the most because she’s supper sensitive. Me and my brother had this bet where whoever had the most Easter eggs has to do the others chores. Which was the worst thing I ever did he beats me every year and he one this year again I had to walk my dog and clean the basement for a whole week. Our basement is pretty basic. All there is, is a bathroom which I didn’t clean, the tv our video games and 3 couches near the fire place. It wasn’t much I just had vacuum.

 In math class I had nothing to do. I finished my math test yesterday so I had nothing to do. I finished all my science homework and social studies. I had nothing to do so I was just sitting there doing my Kahn academy I went up 2 point which is sooo fun. One person didn’t finish the test so we all had to sit there and wait for that one person but they never finished so I just sat there. I wonder when there going to be done. This sucks. Some lady walked into to the classroom half way during in the class and just sat there. She was sitting in table all the way in the back not doing any thing just watching us do nothing. I honestly got so bored I wanted to fall asleep but I know that’s worth a foul. Is it worth it is a foul worth it. I can’t. I’m just going to sit her doing nothing.

“Ok come on Stephanie”
Me and Goretti ran to the other side of the gym by as we were going they threw the ball at us. We both jumped. I almost bumped into her so when landing I stepped wrong and my knee bended. OMGGG it hurts so much but I have to ghetto the other side. I was trying to get up but I couldn’t. As soon as I got to my feet pain urged through my leg and I couldn’t put force on it. I tried walking but I limped. Alexis saw me and she helped me go up to Mr.Vallone. “Um Mr.Vallone can I sit out?” He saw how I was limping and couldn’t walk so he left me sit out and asked me “do you want to go to the nurse?” “No I’m good” Alexis was helping me get to the bleachers where I sat. I tried moving it around but it didn’t work my leg would just hurt even more and I hated it. I kinda felt like crying but I didn’t I held it in. Alyssa went up to me “are you ok?” “Yeah I’ll be fine” “ok feel better. “Thanks”. She walked away and I just sat there watching everyone else play.

Spring Break Plans

For this Spring Break it’s going to be the usual. By usual I mean staying at home going out with my family, going to my friends house or mall. One thing I’m doing for sure is to running with my brother cause I lost a bet. I’m going out with my mom almost everyday. It usually breakfast, the movies, and going to my aunts house we’re i get to be with my cousins which is the worst thing ever. I’m probably going to my friends house or the mall since we don’t see each other very often because she lives kinda far from me. Rather than that I’m going to watch Netflix every day and fight with my brother cause there’s nothing better than that. If I do anything super exciting is probably going to an arcade with my family. Hopefully there no bad weather that can ruin any of the plans. If there is any bad weather hopefully my mom doesn’t change her mind if there’s bad weather.

Insensitive day

I didn’t get insensitive Day. I was to lazy to do the IXL and Newsela, but the insensitive Day was a reward for anyone who did the GSame o for the gold challenge. We had to do a specific amount of IXLs and get them to 100%. We also had to do 4 Newselas that had 3 more in side so 12 articles. There was bronze, silver, and gold. Everyone who had one of the rankings got insensitive and falcon dollars. Others who choose not to had to stay in class and do work like me. :)

I really don’t want to present in social studies. Uhhhhh
“Sandra did you do the presentation?” “Yeah did you?” “Yup”
“Good thing is we’re not pressing” omg yess I don’t have to present. “That’s good” I replied. Mr. D was putting the the trailers on and when he put mine I turned red. “It’s ok” Sandra told me trying to make me feel better. “I hope so” when my trailer was over they clapped like everyone else’s. “Good you were creative” Sandra told me “thanks I guess” I replied “no problem” she smiled and put her attention back to the smart board. I looked up and like always Diego was laughing. By this point I really didn’t care what he had to say so I ignored him for the rest of the class period.

“Brianna is Sandra here yet?” “No” what if she doesn’t come that’s not good she has to come. “Maybe she’s a little late” “what if she doesn’t come tho Bri” I went in excel and I was worried Sandra wasn’t gonna come to school. If Sandra doesn’t come I’m gonna have a terrible terrible day and we’ll we don’t want that. When excel was over I went to the hallway and waited to see if she was here or not. I was going to go in to math when I saw. I went up to her and asked “what happened Gavina” “I had to go to wallgreens” I just laughed “why” “cause I’m sick” “that makes sense”.

Karen and me got our food and we’re going to working lunch with Ms.Haury when we found out it was closed. “Now what” Karen asked. “We could go with Ms.Choe I mean Sandra and Brianna are there” I replied “nah let’s just go to the lunch room” she answered. We walked to the lunchroom and heard the loud roar of students. “I’m gonna go to the bathroom” I told her. “Ok me to then” she replied. We went to the bathroom and stayed there for a while. “Let’s just stay in here” “no we’re gonna get in trouble come on” “uhhh ok” she replied. We were walking to the lunch room and nether of us wanted to walk to our table so we stayed in a table in front with our friends. “We could be in quiteness but no I’m here in the loud lunch room” she told me in an anger voice. “Sorry”

MSD Support

   If you don’t know what MSD is it’s the school in Florida where 17 people died. I’m supporting this cause by going to the rally the school is offering to the students. The shooting was wrong because the 17 victims had there whole life ahead of them and one person took that away from them. This was one of the top 10 shooting in United States History. This shooting sadly happened on February 14, On Valentine’s Day.

“Wakkkkkeeeeeee uppppppppp” i shouted “ no it’s to early there’s no school today” my brother replied in a droopy voice “ you wish there was no school and it’s 7:20 wake up we’re gonna be late” “that’s ok” he sounded more asleep. “I’m gonna spray water at you” “bet you won’t” he replied in dareing  voice. I walked out of the room and later reterned with a spray bottle filled with cold water. I went right next to his bed and started spraying him. “Your gonna pay for this” he said in an agitated voice. “Ummm no I’m not” I ran out of the room and hid in my moms room. She was sitting at the edge of her bed on her phone. My brother was right behind me. “ ma Leo’s gonna kill me” I said trying not to laugh. My brother walked in the room with wet damp clothes. “What happened to you” my mo pm asked him. “Your daughter happened” he replies with and angry look towards me. “

It’s not my fault you lazy” I told him. “It’s also not your that I’m annoying I do that all on my own”. He gave a cold stare and walked to the bathroom.

Chicago History

What I choose to write about is the Chicago fire in October 1871.
In 1871 there was a fire and it lasted from October 8 to October 10. It’s believed that about 300 people died within those days. There was about 200 million dollars of damage and reconstruction. It’s said that a cow started the fire by kicking over a lamp in a barn and the flame started from there. Before the great Chicago fire there was 20 minor fires in the city. The Chicago fire destroyed about 17,450 buildings.

It’s so colddddd. 

“Why are we here again” I ask my mom “you know why so don’t give me attitude” “ok ok” 

Where is she. Yeah I’m excited and happier than anyone in the world but it’s way to cold. I think my my feet are gonna fall off and um well I can’t feel my hands so I’m having a fantastic day. “Look it’s her” my brother shouted. After 13 weeks I finally saw my sister. She’s skinnier and tanner. Hopefully that boot camp pulled of. I only caught a glimpse of her not much more ,but that is all I really need. “Come on we have to wait for her” my mom said. “Ok” I replied. “Hurry up slow poke” my brother teased. “Gosh ok”. She was running one place to another in a single file with all the others marines.

Ok I’m not gonna go to sleep in tell after 4 hours. In a 17ish hour drive to South Carolina.

“Leo give me your headphones” “ok here just don’t wet them like last time” “ok but you know I’m clumsy” he rolled his eyes at that. What to listen to I could listen to chill music or rap?? You know what I’m just gonna watch Vampire Diaries on Netflix. “What are you doing?” My brother asked. “Netflix” I replied “oh”. I didn’t bother asking him why I was to busy doing nothing. “I thought you were gonna read” he said randomly. “Yeah I’m pretty sure I can’t read in the dark so I’ll pass on reading for now” I replied.

Favorite Quote

  This would be my favorite quote because it reminds me to not freak out when I don’t succeed on my first try “plan A”. I tend to freak out a lot when I don’t get things right or when I don’t know what to do, so this quote is my reminder to calm down everything’s going to be alright and if one thing doesn’t go right I still have a long road to be able to get something correct. That not everyone can do thing on the first try and multiple things are supposed to be done with time and patience and as long as I have those things then I’m good and I have better chance in succeeding and being prouder of my self. If I fail with my first try I still have 25 try’s. 🙂

“Sparky sit”

“Tell the dog to stop crying it’s hard to drive like that” my mom was yelling. “Ok ,but it’s hard she does like the car” I replied. “Ok sparky calm down we’re almost there.” She looked at me with frustrated eyes and kept whining. “Put the window down for her” my mom suggested. “Ok” 

“Here sparky put your head out” she did as she was told and let the harsh wind hit her fluffy white face. It’s cold I wanna put it up. When sparky put her head back in closed the window immediately. “Wai...” sparky shaked her fur one way to the other and she let so much hair out and it got all over meeee. “Sparky you just had to be wigglily didn’t you” She egged her tail as if she was happy for getting hair all over me.

“Do i have to go?” I asked know ping the response. “ you know you have to go to your brothers soccer game so why complain?” I could tell my mom was mad by her voice. “It’s a fun hobby I’ve mastered over time” “ ohh just get ready we leave in 20”. “Uhhhhh ok”
I walked up the the wooden stairs slowly as if dragging and forceing my body to go up. It felt like so much. “Don’t be a drama queen” she screamed from behind. “Ok ok I’ll hurry up” I replied.  When I finally went my room my brother was there. “Hurry up I don’t wanna be late cause of you” I could tell he did not wanna be late. “No promises but I’ll hurry”.
Hmmmmm blue shirt black shirt?? Black jeans? Blue jeans? Blue and black? Black and black? Blue and blue? Omgggg what to decide? “We leave in 10” my brother yelled “ I’m still cha...” he was in from of my door. “ blue shirt, black jeans” “ok thank you uglyyyy” he just smiled at that.

Washing dishes.

 Ok. Come on I can do this. It isn’t a lot of dishes.

I grabbed the sponge dipped in the cold soapy water and started scrubbing the dirty dishes. How did my mom make so much food? As I started to clean the dishes a really strong, weird smell. It was so nasty. How did I get stuck with dish duty? I turned the water on and chill ran down my back as the cold water touched my skin. Uhhhhh I thought it was on the hot water i hate thissss. Ok come on stay focused. 

BINNGG

Who texted me? My hands are we how am I gonna grab it. You know what who cares. I grabbed my phone and as soon as I had it on my hand it slipped. Noooooooo. 

Thankfully it landed on my dogs soft bed. What would’ve happened if it slipped in the water. I would be dead.

     I was in my moms car on the way to a barber shop due to my brothers long hair.
I was stareing outside of the window as we passed houses,stores, people and dogs. They suns bright beams of rays were hitting my face ,so I had to squint sometimes to see. Ommmggggggg that’s such a cute doggggggggg. We were passing a huge German Shepherd. His or her fur was beautiful and majestic black with hints of brown rays. The light was green so we had zoomed by. I was disappointed by the fact that the dog was no longer in sight, but it got better because I saw this really small white dog it was probably a Pomeranian. It was sooo tiny,but once again we zoomed by. I wish sparky were with me.

   I was in my bed covered in a pile blankets reading my book when my brother came in. “Your such a nerd” he said looking down at his phone. “At least I’m not ruining my brain by using my phone 24/7 like you”. “I’m not wasting my brain I’m being educational” he said in a mocking way. “ yeah sure how is playing fifa on your phone educational” “it just is you nerd” “I rather be a nerd than being attached to my phone oh and thanks” “for what?” “ the nerd part” “it’s not a compliment” “but I’ll take it as one” he shakes his head with a grin on his face and walked out. As he walked out he turned off the lightmin my room. “Try reading in the dark” uhhhhhhh. I stood up and turned it back on. My room smelled like vanilla due to the aroma of a candle on my dresser. As I started reading again my dog walked in trying to be sneaky. She jumped to my bed and started scratching my arm as sign of her wanting to pet her. “You silly dog” I looked at her puppy eyes And rubbed her belly and read.

  BEEEP BEEP BEEEEEEEEEP 

UHHH I have to wake up for school. Uhhh maybe 1 more minute. My bed is so soft and comfy and lets not forget it’s so warm. “Sparky you wanna wake up yet?” She looked at me with her tired droopy eyes and then went back to deep sleeep. BUZZZZ BUZZZZ BUZZZ. I checked my phone “wake up don’t forget to let the dog out and feed her” my dad texted me. “Sparky come on girl we gotta get ready”. She didn’t wake up so I didn’t ether” 

BEEEEEP BEEEEP BEEEP BEEEEEP BEEEEEP

Uhh my second alarm. I looked at sparky and she was wide awake. I could tell she heard the loud buzz. When I woke up completely like every morning the first thing I heard was my brothers super loud radio. I could tell the song playing was I fall Apart.  I ignored his loud music and stared at how deep he was in sleep. I went down the stairs as sparky barked at me anxiously waging her tail side to side waiting for me to up the door. When I finally opened it she zoomed outof the house. The morning felt moist and it smelled damp with a little drizzle in the air. I called sparky name out and she ran toward me and into the house.

   I was walking my dog one day after school one day. The sun was shining and it wasn’t really cold which was great. My dog sparky kept looking at me I could tell she wanted to run so I did. The wind hit my face and all of a sudden sparky started to,pull the leash I felt as if she was going to drag me although she’s really small. I noticed it was due to the fact there was squirrel in front of us. “Sparky come on leave the poor squirrel alone” she just barked. Uhh why is this dog so crazy and viscous. She was tugging at the leash so I eventually let go and when I did she zoomed to tree as if to attack it. I could tell she noticed nothing was there anymore due to the fact that she came walking to me with her head held high and her wagging tail. “What am I going to with you sparky” she looked up and then back down.

Argumentative

  For my argumentative essay im choosing to write about how their is no specific dog breed more aggressive than others. I chose this topic because everyone always says that big dogs are bad. It all depends on how you train and treat them. If your mean it’s possible that the dog will also be mean. Like the expression dogs are like their owners righ.

Should we wear uniforms??

  Should we wear uniforms? This is an argument that many people are against and fore. I’m against wearing school uniforms, because it takes away our own personalities. Imagine this having to wear the same color pants and shirt as everyone else it gets boring well that’s how it’s in multiple schools. Eventually you stop caring right but it’s a problem. Don’t you rather wear something no one has or your own style. Our style says a lot on our personalities. Sometimes it tell people your quiet and want to be left alone or that your funny and or loud. Yeah you may get bullied if someone doesn’t like what your wearing or they just want to be mean about it, but honestly we all get bullied in some way we all have that one or multiple haters and you just got to let it be and express your own style.

Snow Day

   On Friday we had a snow day due to the cold weather and the amount of snow there was. On the snow day i didn’t really do much. I washed the dishes and cleaned my room cause that was really messy. My brother wanted me to go out side and play but, it was way too cold and I was nice and warm inside. When I was done cleaning my room I went straight to watching Netflix. As always I watched Vampire Diaries and ate hot Cheetos and coke cause you know why not right. I was gonna read and be “educational” but, well it’s vampire diaries why would I choose homework over it right.

Opposing side of blackfish

I believe that orca whales should be in captivity because there fun to watch, they get the help they need.  Have you ever gone to sea pworld if you have you know the whale are adorable and fun to watch. They are fun to watch because they do all sort of tricks like jumping out, waving their fin to the audience and splashing everyone with water. They get the help they need because they live a long happy life with other whales to be with them.

   Part 2.

  My Mother arranged this huge goodbye party thing which was really not necessary especially with the fact that she made them wear bright bright blue.
You know how Jupiter has that never ending storm well... it’s tradition where if your leaving you have to stand in the middle of it for an hour. It was pretty painful and useless . When I went to the party thing my mom set up there was so many people there. I didn’t know half of them which was like whoa. Why am I here again?
“Ohh my gurglar look how big you are” my aunt yelled this from across the place. She came charging at me I though it was the moment where I died. But she just gave a really really tight hug. I ditched the whole party it’s not really my thing. And oh I almost forgot gulglar is like a god to us so t would be like saying oh my god.
 It was starting to get dark so I went to my parents. I was afraid of this moment. Saying goodbye to my dad and mom that was ok I was finally getting away from them, but what hurt me the most was saying goodbye to my little brother and sister. There so little I’m afraid they’ll forget me...

I was in my shuttle. Scared I felt like I was gonna have a panic attack right there and lose consciousness.  While I was sitting there thought of the way I wanted to look. Dang it I also forgot to tell you. My beings well we can look how ever we want. I gave myself light dusty brown hair, hazel eyes and a fair color skin.

Blackfish review

  Blackfish was about killer whales and how there kept in captivity in different type of sea worlds. This movie was against Killer whales being in captivity because they get aggressive, there top fin would bend, some whales would kill people like Tilikum the whale. They show in the movie some of the female killer whales ganging up on Tilikum. The whales would also hurt each other. Many had scratches. 1 whale even bled to death. In the wild they have miles and miles to swim away in sea worlds they don’t have much space to swim away from attacker’s. They also state in the movie “there s no record in history of killer whales being aggressive in the wild”. In the video they show multiple whales with there fin bended. The show footage of one of the workers lying to the people about this they stated that it’s normal and it happens to many whales. When truly it only happens to at least 1% of whales in the wild. They also said that there whales last longer there than in the wild when truly they die younger in captivity. They lasted longer in the wild. Whales killing people. Just imagine being a 16 foot whale and being trapped for the rest of your life. This what many of the killer whales had to go through. Tilikum was kinda known for attacking trainers and also killing people. Tilikum was once found with a dead man in his tank. Tilikum also dragged many trainers to drown. Dawn a trainer in sea world was killed by Tilikum. No one knows how whales act. They state that it Tilikum was frustrated because he didn’t get a lot food.

Fiction vs Non-Fiction

    Fiction books are not actual events that happened. They have made up characters and places. An example of Fiction books would be To Kill A Mockingbird, The Fault In Our Stars. 
Non-Fiction books are based on actual events that happened and have real people. An example of Non-Fiction books would be any books based on real things
With fiction books you never know what’s going to happen because the plot change how ever. With Non-fiction books they help because they have a lot of facts and helpful for high Every topic you need. I prefer to read fiction books because about every story is different and they always have twist and turns.

Winter break

   During winter break I didn’t do much but stay at home cause it was extremely cold. So I was productive by reading 1 book at Home. I was gonna do khan Academy but I got lazy and Netflix seemed a little more fun. I went to sleep late and woke up late every single day. I’m not so sure how long I read when I did but I didn’t read 30 minutes every day like I wanted to. My mom reminded my almost every single day but like I said before Netflix drew my attention. I went to sleep late every day but had to wake up early every now and then. My Aunt didn’t come with her 3 annoying kids so that was really good.

New Year Resolution

   My NewYear Resolutions are to...
My First Resolution would be to be nicer to my big brother. By that I mean not to punch him, talk back, and take his things.
My second Resolution would be to do what my mom tells me to do. Hen she tells me to clean, to actually clean not just wing it and not do it.
My third Resolution would be to pay more attention in math cause I don’t really like it.
My fourth Resolution would to not complain as much with my parents and my sister.
My fifth Resolution would be to always have my work done on time.
My last Resolution would be to not be such a pain.
