Winter break

   During winter break I’m not really gonna do any but the usual staying in sleeping late eating, and going to the mall or movie theater. During winter break most people don’t do anything school related. I would love to do that but my mom has this strict rule where we have to read about 30 minuets every day, and practice math. That’s how I’m going to be projective during break by doing what my mom tells me to do and study everything I’ve learned in my classes. Im also going to be projective by watching Netflix at night. Just kidding I’m not that much of a no life. The only thing that might be different this year is that my aunts visiting with my 3 super annoying cousins which isn’t fun at all. The only good thing about it is that there not staying in my house.

Insentive

    Insensitive Day is for the students who moved up in at least two of our map scores. The choice for insensitive Day would be to watch a movie, a drawing room, open gym and the mpr, and technology room where we could take our phones. I choose the gym because my friends were going there so I didn’t want to be alone in a room. If you didn’t get insensitive day you go to a reflection room. I’m not sure what there doing there. All I know it’s gonna be super boring. I feel bad for the people who didn’t go up because a lot of people tried really hard but didn’t get a higher score, but there is also kids who rushed through it because they really don’t care. Insensitive Day is reward we had to earn it by doing a good job on map.

Forgiveness

  Forgiveness means when your forgiving the process of being forgiven. To me forgiveness means when some one hurts you and you chose to forgive them. You don’t hold a grudge against them. When ever I forgive someone I actually mean it. By that I mean there’s times when people just forgive you because your being annoying. I’m constantly forgiving my brothers like when he breaks my necklace by accident or when he spilled water on me by accident. I forgive him fast because I know they weren’t his Intentions. There’s times when people do something on purpose to hurt you and act like it’s an accident. That’s when I don’t forgive as fast. Some people are forgive forget. That means they don’t really forgive you but they forget so it’s like nothing ever happened. When you forgive someone there supposed to say sorry and ask for forgiveness. Not you say sorry and then forgive them. Either or you shouldn’t hurt someone.

Honesty

   To me honesty means not lieing, telling the truth. I wouldn’t really consider my self as an honest person. I don’t lie to my friends, teachers, and some of my family members. The only time I actually lie is when I try to make something up to get out of trouble with my mom. I only lie to my mom about three times a month when I get into fights with my brother. I think it’s good to be honest because if you always lied and someone found out they won’t trust you anymore and it would hurt that person because they don’t know when you lied or when you were telling them the truth. You can lose a lot of people if you lie so be honest. Being honest gain you a lot of trust at home, and at school, as well as other places. Lying gets you no where you don’t advance you stay where you are or go back. Being honest makes you move up. So if I were you I wouldn’t lie to anyone. I would be honest to everyone.

Story

    I have a pretty normal life I guess. Besides the fact that I’m in alien and I live on Jupiter. It’s pretty cool I know living on the biggest plant in our solar system. But I’m not your “ordinary” alien I’m a prince and my peopel I guess you can say that we’re red NOT green that’s just a stereo type. Aliens find that really offensive to our community. We have 3 eyes and horns we’re also extremely tall on Jupiter. Our race is called the jupiterians, we’re one of the most advanced civilization of beings although the PLUTOrians are trying to make a comeback ever since they were announced to not be a planet.

My life has been pretty good in tell my parents decided to send me to the one and only Earth. They want me to expirence something new. My ship day is 1 day and I’m freaking out.I’m afraid that somethings gonna go wrong with my shuttle and I’m going to be floating in space surrounded by asteroids  not knowing what’s gonna happen in a big pool of nothingness. I rather stay in my home planet and have a big shiveringcone for you that would be an ice cream. The only difference is that I have super mans powers in it to make me strong. No I’m kidding I’m just messing with you I swear.Superman’s a great guy.

When I woke up I was treated by many strange people dressed in this bright majestic yellow and honesty they were not pulling it off. They probably didn’t have a good mirror. Cause yellow and red bad fashion choice friends. They were chanting things I didn’t really listen I was half asleep. A couple long minutes later my mother walked in and shouted “ohh my baby Jupi is all grown up and going away” I just replied with a smile. Since you probably don’t know Jupi means boy and Teri is girl.

Map testing

     Map testing was three days. We had to sit in excel which wasn’t that bad but it was two whole hours of testing. If we were done with the test early we would read which was great for the math and language arts test but for the reading test having to read more after . It felt as if eyes were going to close shut and not open. I went up in all my test which was pretty cool. I had this felling in my stomach during all three test nervous that I wasn’t gonna pass. Everyone was trying to go up in at least two test for free time on the last day before winter break. I was so anxious to finish and go up on my test that I couldn’t stop moving my feet. I kept tapping the floor. But besides that testing was pretty good.

Slice of Life

    It was a regular day after school. When I got home my mom wasn’t home so I was with my sister and brother. I sitting in the couch when my brother tells me “Jenny said to go and play Mario carts with us” “ uhh no I don’t feel like playing right now” I replied. “Sure” he told me as he walked away.
A couple minutes later all I hear is my sister shout out to me and say “Stephanie come where gonna play it’s not your choice your always on your phone” “uhhhhh okay” I replied knowing that if I said anything else I would get in trouble. I walked super so slow on purpose so she could get mad.
I sat down with them. “Do I really have to play.?” I whined “ Yes” she replied with an annoyed tone in her voice. When we started to play I kept losing because honestly I’m not very good at Mario carts.
They would laugh at the fact that I kept losing and that when I said “I don’t see the point of me playing if you guys are gonna laugh” “ it’s cause your bad” my brother replied. “ exactly why I am playing” “ it’s sibling time” my sister responded. “Uhhhhhhhhh” I just stayed with them I had no other choice. While playing My we started to smell burnt when my sister realized she had put food. She rushed to th kitchen and turned everything off. I was laughing during this so that got her even more mad.

My super hero’s name is Leonardo. His superpowers are He’s 24 and he’s Mexican, American. His hometown is dalton Georgia. He currently lives in Chicago.he makes 500,000,000 a year. He has 1 little sister named Julissa and his Grandpa Arch. Besides that he has his best friends Alexa, and Ruben. His height is 6’2 he weights 250 pounds. He has eyes as blue as the sky and his hair is a light sandy brown.mhe wears glasses sometimes contacts. He has dimples and a scar on his right eyebrow. He has a very good style he has a modern elegant yet classy and sporty style. He has good manners and he does not smoke or drink. My funny/ embarrassing story.

  My most funny moment would be when I was in 4th grade. We all had to do these presentation on the Statue of Liberty 🗽. I was prepared or I thought I was. I didn’t know my little cousin had messed with my project and wrote well let’s justsay bad things and put spongebob as a theme.  Imagine I was ready to present in front of the class and everyone starts laughing. Including the teacher. I turned bright red and felt like crying. In tell one kid says it’s ok I didn’t even do it and if I did your be better. By then I didn’t care and started Laughing with the rest of the class.

Quarter 2 goals

    Goals I have for second quarter 2 would be to talk less in all my classes, participate a lot more than I do now cause I don’t participate, work harder and actually try a little more. I’m going to try to talk less in class by not sitting with friends and working alone. I’m also going to try to talk less in class by not getting distracted as easily. I’m going to try to be less shy and raise my hand if I know the answer that’s how I’m going to participate a little more. I’m going to work harder by telling my friends I want to focus and do my work. I’m going try more by trying to explain myself in all my work. By that I mean more detail in my work.

Gratitude

    I’m grateful for my family and friends. I’m grateful for my family because they are always their for me and help me. I’m grateful for my mom because she’s always there when I’m home from school waiting to ask how was my day. I’m grateful for my dad because he gets me whatever I want and makes sure he never misses any important days and is there for me. I’m grateful for my three sisters because they help me with everything. I’m thankful for my brother because no matter what I do he never gives up on me. I’m thankful for my friends because I know they’ll always have my back and I could trust them. To me gratitude means what or who I’m greatful for and people who I need because my life wouldn’t be complete with out them.

Favorite City🇲🇽

     My favorite city is Cuernavaca. Cuernavaca is in Morelos and Morelos is located in Mexico. My grandparents and family members live there. The population of Cuernava is 338,650.  Cuernavaca is also the home of Palace De Cortés. Palace De Cortes is a church built in 1526. It’s one of the oldest building in Cuernavaca. Cuernavaca is also the home of baleario ojo de agua this is a fun water park you can visit in Cuernavaca. Cuernavaca is 40 miles away from Mexico City. Cuernavaca is also one of the oldest cities in the county. Favorite Animal 🐺

My favorite animal is a wolf. Wolves are my favorite animals because they are misunderstood, beautiful and fierce. Many people think there aggressive and vicious animals but they act like that because we scare them, that’s there way of protecting there herd from intruders also known as humans and biggger animals. According to https://www.smashinglists.com/most-beautiful-animals/2/ Wolfe’s are one of the most fierce animals a as well. Wolfs are fierce because they stand there ground and they look very threatening. Did you know dogs and Wolfe’s are cousins. Wolfs can also run a distance of 12 miles a day.

Happiest Day Ever

    The happiest day for me would be my 10 birthday when I went to pump it up with my family friends. My parents had combined my bday and my brothers because there only 20 days apart. This was my happiest day ever because most of my family and friends were there with me to celebrate my birthday annd my brothers but it was fun. We got to jump in the bouncy house thingy and we got a lot of presents and money so yay. But the important part was that I had a good time and my family was there with and also had a fun day

Greatest Achievement

 
    My greatest achievement would be finnaly cleaning my room perfectly after my mom told for like a month or two. This was my greatest achievement because my room got messy after my cousins went over and had a fiesta in my room. There was clothes all verbthe place and for some reason a box of candy. If that wasn’t my greatest achievement was finishing a 520 page book over the summer.☺️

The Best Food Ever!

For me the best food ever would be my moms enchiladas. This is my favorite food because each time I eat it reminds me of the enchiladas my grandma made me when I went to Mexico in December. I also like enchiladas because I’ve been eating them since I was a little girl. So enchiladas is something  I’ve eat a lot. My favorite enchiladas would be enchiladas Rojas (red). If you’ve ever eaten enchiladas you know what I mean when I say there good and juicy.

Writer or singer.

 
     If I could be a writer or singer would be a writer. I would be a writer because singer have to deal with all the press and camera when they go somewhere. I think writers have more privacy when it comes to going out. No one really notices writers so YEAHH, I also enjoy writing because it makes me calm. Writing is also a fun way to express our feelings in a way that take you to another place. Singer may express them selfs in singing and lyrics but there not so detailed like writing in a book. That’s why I would be a writer.

News this week

    On Sunday October 1 Stephen Paddock decided to do a shooting. Stephen Padlock killed 58 people and injured 489 people. He did all this with the help of a 23 weapons which includes semiautomatic rifles, scopes and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. It's believed he bought all of this illegally in Nevada.  When they searched his home they found another 19 weapons. The police sheriff said that he couldn't imagine himself in psychopath head right now. Our own president Donald Trump posted this

Donald Trump himself gave condolences. Hopefully nothing like this happens again.

If I was Presidant

    If I was president the first thing I would do would be get rid of the banned on Dacia law Donald Trump mad on September 5 2017. I would get rid of this banned because over 36,000 people are being affected. I would get rid of this banned because people who came to the United States as young kids get Daca as they get older so they can get paid and have a job. Just because they weren't born here or aren't citizens doesn't mean they can't work here. Another thing I would do would get rid of the fact that people from Syria,Iran,Libya,Sudan,Yemen,Somalia can't enter the country. I would get rid of this banned just a couple of groups make a bad decision doesn't mean the whole religion or people are also bad. People want to come the U.S because they want a better life. If I was president I would make sure everyone has an education,roof over their head and food. I want everyone to have in education because everyone is capable of something great but 70% of the Americans in the United States don't have a college Degree because they don't have the money and 1962  people don't have high school diploma because of the same thing. I want to help these people. I want people to have a roof over there head because over 500,000 people have no home and live on the street. I want people to have a place to sleep and call their own. Food is an important part for our body about 41 million people struggle with hunger in the United States. We all need food even it's just a sandwich we need it. I want every one to have food.

Story

One fall day a girl name Sam was out with her three best friends Kathy, Jennifer and Ana. They had decided to go to the mall so they did. On the way to the new mall there tier popped . It was in the worst nighboor hood possible it was around six so it was gonna get dark soon.

"Sam what are we gonna do" "I don't know Ana we just have to stick together let me call my mom." "Ha you're gonna have a hard time doing that there's no servic out here" "are you sure Jenny" "positive Sam" "lets walk it to the mall its only 4 miles up ahead than we'll get some help" "I agree with Sam you guys" "you all ways do Kathy" " So do you Jenny so I wouldn't be talking" "Ana chill let's just get safe"

When the girls started walking they heard a gun go off and desieded to run. They got about a mile away from the car by then. When a creepy looking guy walked up to them and said in a scary voice

" do you young lady's need help" "no were fine thank you for asking" Sam said " are you sure I can help you out" " get out of here you creep" shouted Ana

By then the girls decided to run faster.2 miles away from the car by now. "Hey what's wrong with that guy" " I don't Jenny" replied Ana. The girls walked up to him and asked "sir are you ok" he didn't respond Sam pulled turned him around he was dead. "Oh my god" "Sam what do we do I don't know leave he here" "for once I agree with Sam" said Ana.

The girl ran as fast as they could trying to forget that horrid memory. It was 3 miles by than.theyknew they were safe and they were. They made it to the mall asked for help an got it.

Slice of Life

    It was like any other day I was sitting in the kitchen table my mom was making corn soup. The smell f the sweet sweet corn in the air mixed with all the butter and milk. It smelled like heaven. While she was cooking she says to me "go get your sister" "ok" i walked slowly up to my sister room and knock "what do u want" she yelled "moms calling you" I replied "ok all be there right now" she moaned. I dragged my self back down the stairs i was just so tiered because of gym class. When I made it to the kitchen I sat back down in the cozy chair. My mom was still cooking when I asked "is dad almost home" "yeah like 5 more minutes" " oh ok" I replied. Those 5 minutes felt like hours to me while looking at my mom in a rush to finish the dinner. "Where's your sister" she asked "in her room" I replied "go get her dinners ready" "ok" I told her. Once more I dragged myself up to get my sister. "Moms calling u dinners ready" I told her " ok I'll go down right now" she replied. I dragged my self down once more when my dad got home. Like any other day I said hi to him. He didn't reply you could he was tired like any other day. He went to his room changed and came down with my sister. I set the table and my mom poured soup in each bowl. When I sat down to taste the sweetness of the corn soup my dad asked me "how was school" " ok I guess we did the pacer test in gym" I replied he said nothing back. I finally got to taste the corn soup and when I did i felt like it melted in mouth.

Digital citizenship

 
    Digital citizenship is making sure everyone uses the internet safely and responsibly. A ways can use digital citizenship is by reporting bad behavior. For example let's say some one is saying hateful comments or saying inappropriate thing.Almost every year 4500 kids mostly teens commit suicide because of cyber bullying. Another way you can use Digital citizenship responsibility is by treating other the way you want to be treated online. If you don't want to be called mean thing on the internet don't say means things to others. Another way you can use digital citizenship is by always giving credit to videos, photos, information, and ideas. For example I got most of my information from digitalcitizenship. This is how I use Digital Citizenship and u should to.

WE

The WE program is a program that helps people all around like in East Africa a girl named faith wanted to go to school but her dad didn't want her to go to school he told her to stop wasteing her time so he gave her more chores but that didn't stop her. No she did her chores at night and studied in the day when her mom died she stop trying and got bad grades so she didn't get a scroller ship. After a while she got in to the school and she became the Oleleshwas first school president. By the second yer he dad was more supportive and was the most involved parent. After that WE heard about it and gave her a voice.

When the name of guy came to Heritage and told us about other people's story's. I jumped in to realality and noticed how I wanted to make a difference how every 3 seconds someone dies because of drinking dirty water  and every 20 seconds someone dies because of hunger. Guy name made me realize we all have a voice.

Hurricane Irma

    Hurricane Irma was a terrible tragedy that happened in the Southeast mainly hit Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. The death count of Irma is 34 and rising. Irma was the second hurricane to hit the U.S in less than a month. Hurricane Irma was such a tragedy because lots of people lost their home ,loved family members and ,friends. The only good thing that happened with Hurricane Irma is that a lot of people came together to help out.


   Puerto Rico needs 1billion dollars to rebuild everything that was damaged
